Wing Chun training will improve your ability to deal with difficult situations, both inside, and outside the home.
The class has been designed to improve fitness, relaxation, and fighting ability in a safe and controlled environment.
Within the first three months of practice the student is exposed to the basic methods of personal defense, as well as, the foundation techniques of the style.
All aspects of Wing Chun Theory will be discussed, among these:
Dynamic Centerline Theory--The centerline of the body has the most vulnerable targets. If you can control your opponent's centerline, you can destroy him.
Immovable Elbow--Controlling the elbow is the key to offense and defense. Elbow control can lead to increased power, and high defensive capability.
Combat Facing Theory--Facing theory enhances your ability to attack and defend. It is concerned with the ability to point your weapons at your opponent, and decrease his ability to point his weapons at you.
Ying and Yang Force Control Theory--The ability to blend with, and control your opponent's force is the mark of a truly advanced practitioner. This ability is put into use anytime bodies touch and force is generated. It is trained with the Sticky Combat Hands exercise.
.
Wing Chun is a principle based system. The principles provide the foundation for modern day applications. The principles are few, the applications are limitless!
